Campsite Information
Summer Meadows campsite is open on the dates below. It is advisable to book ahead by email (see the Contact us page for details) but if you haven’t booked we may have last minute vacancies so please stop by and ask us!
We are a small relaxed independent campsite and offer our visitors a chance to stay somewhere slightly different to the larger campsites in Croyde. We have clean toilet facilities and a tiki-style open shower hut (please bring swimwear!), and cater mainly for those who wish to have a quiet weekend away getting back to nature and avoiding the holiday-park crowds. However, please don't expect CenterParcs - we are only little and cannot offer the facilities that the big commercial campsites do. You will hopefully have a pleasant camping experience at lower prices than elsewhere in Croyde, with more space for each tent and without all the scary rules and regulations!
We aim to run our campsite as ecologically as possible so we have showers that are heated by the sun, solar lighting, recycling bins on site and a compost heap for your food waste. We also keep our own chickens so can supply free range eggs to our visitors.
We welcome dogs, but do ask that you clear up after your pets and keep them under control at all times. Families, singles, couples and groups are all welcome – unlike many of the other campsites we are happy to accommodate larger single sex groups as long as they are well behaved and do not cause any disruption to other guests or our neighbours!
Check in is between 12pm and 10pm on the day of arrival, and check out by 2pm on the day of departure - exceptions can possibly be made by prior arrangement with us so please call us if you expect to be arriving later or need to stay on a bit later than this!
Payment is required in full to book your place - this is non-refundable unless 7 days notice is given of cancellation, in which case 50% will be refunded.
